The Oceanside International Film Festival’s mission is to provide a platform for media creators
from all backgrounds to present their work to an appreciative audience and offer an
opportunity for their art to be recognized. This includes producing immersive events that
expand on the cultural and educational nature of the cinematic experience.




OIFF strives to highlight the importance of storytelling and points of view of diverse cultures
from around the world. We are dedicated to presenting stories that foster hope, create
emotion, inspire action, and shine a spotlight on the voices that tell them.
The Oceanside International Film Festival team is focused on building the event into an
international destination for artists, connoisseurs, and industry professionals, bringing attention
to our community, culture, creativity, and the art of Oceanside, California.




• OIFF’s goal is to build upon our international reputation as a destination for filmmakers
and festivalgoers by highlighting emerging voices in the cinematic space.
• The festival will continue to nurture a loyal community & grow an engaging, financially
successful and sustainable film festival.
• We will foster a fundraising board and a dedicated & active donor base in support of the
cinematic arts.
• The festival and its programming will thrive under the leadership of a professional team
and with the enlisted support of a talented volunteer base.
• As always, the festival with strive to incorporate our region’s trademark hospitality,
unique artistic and cultural heritage, including North County’s burgeoning culinary,
brewery and wine scene.
• OIFF will actively work to curate discussion based or interactive educational
programming for all festival attendees.
