OIFF 2016 Special Awards:

  • OIFF “Oceanside Spotlight” Contest Winner: Waves N’ Craves: Baked Eggs & Spiralized Sweet Potato (Missy Powers, Oceanside, CA)

  • OIFF Lifetime Achievement Award (Contribution to the Film and Television Industry) Kathleen Quinlan (“American Graffiti”, “Apollo 13” Academy Award Nominee, “The Doors”)

  • OIFF Lifetime Achievement Award (Historic Contribution to the Heart of the Entertainment Industry): Rolly Crump (creator of Disneyland’s most beloved attractions – It’s a Small World, the Haunted Mansion and the Enchanted Tiki Room. Animators on “Peter Pan,” “Lady and the Tramp,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “101 Dalmatians”) – The Following Video is an except of an interview conducted with Rolly Crump at OIFF 2017’s Opening Ceremony. Interview is Dallin Smith of Youtube Channel, Offhand Disney. The Discussion was Later Uploaded as Content to his Personal Channel for the World of Disney Fans to See.

  • Special Guest Speakers: Llewellyn Wells & Jonathan Lisco – TNT Networks’ ANIMAL KINGDOM

On Friday, August 12th, Executive Producers of TNT’s Hit Series Animal Kingdom Arrived in Oceanside to Discuss the Series’ Themes and Choice to Be Set in the Town of Oceanside Itself. The Duo Dispelled Rumors of the Town’s Ease of Being Labeled as a Place of Modern Crime, as well as Expressed their Fondness for the North Coast Region in General. It was an Enlightening Discussion that Taught Many Locals the Inner Workings of Both Major Television Production, as well as the Location Scouting Process Used to Set Up Shop. David S. Dawson of Intellxual Entertainment Agreed to Stop By & Interview the Producers on OIFF’s Red Carpet.
